Company history CIME Business Innovation Centre JSCo. (BIC "CIME" JSCo.) is a successor of the Central Institute on Mechanical Engineering - CIME, established in 1956. CIME was created as research and development Institute in the area of machine-building and during the following years broaden the scope of its activities. During the seventies and eighties years the Central Institute on Mechanical Engineering was already established as the main Bulgarian organization for design and industrial application of new technologies, products and machines for the machine-building, metal-turning and other industries. In spite of the difficulties, encountered during the Bulgarian economy transition to market economy after the year 1990, CIME Business Innovation Centre JSCo. succeeded in keeping its material base and the main bulk of its qualified specialists and workers. Thus CIME Business Innovation Centre JSCo. was able to continue the technologies, machines and products' development and production. 100 % of CIME Business Innovation Centre JSCo. shares are now in the possession of private companies and persons following the BIC "CIME" JSCo. privatisation in the years 1999 - 2000.
